Inform Elmina Sharks striker Felix Addo has revealed that he is not in a hurry to leave the Elmina based club amidst interest from European clubs.

The striker who joined Elmina Sharks in 2016 from Liberty Professionals have established himself as fans favourite as his goals at the tail end of last season proved instrumental in the club avoiding relegation.

Felix Addo again scored his side’s much needed equaliser in Kumasi as continued his comeback from the drought patch he has experienced this season.

In an interview with goal.com, Felix Addo revealed his contentment in Elmina and his aim of scoring more goals for his in the current season.  

“There have been offers all over, especially from some European clubs. I think this is as a result of my performance in the league and also at the 2017 Wafu Cup of Nations,” Addo told Goal.

“It was a dream come true after I helped Ghana to win the Wafu title because it exposed me to several opportunities. However, I’m not in a rush to move to Europe because I want the best club for my career.’’

“I’m waiting for a deal which everyone would be happy with and then gladly move to continue my journey elsewhere. I’m now focusing on how to help Sharks to achieve their aims,” he added.

Sharks have had a wonderful run in the top-flight this season, as they occupy sixth on the log with 18 points, three points behind leaders Ashanti Gold.

He has scored three times in the current season and hopes to add more as the season progresses.
